If you like superheroes and over the top violence, you probably know about the underrated film by Matthew Vaughn, Kick-Ass. Today we are excited to share with you the newest red-band trailer for Kick-Ass 2. As we delve back into this rich world, we learn that Hit Girl and Kick-Ass are getting ready to graduate high school, and are taking a reprieve from saving the city. When Christopher Mintz-Plasse makes the decision to become the world’s first super villain (casually naming himself Mother F****r) so he can exact revenge on Hit Girl and Kick-Ass, we get to see a new world with superheroes that is expanding with a multitude of individuals stepping up to the plate to fight crime.

Should you be excited? Yes. Do you need another reason to see this Kick-Ass 2? Well, one of the new superheroes in the film is Colonol Stars and Stripes, played by the legendary and recently under-utilized Jim Carrey. Jim Carrey is known for going full throttle when embodying a character, and from the trailer he looks like he’s created something completely new. I’m so excited to see Carrey bring this character to life and finally make his way back onto the screen. This is his first role in a adult comedy since 2009’s I Love You Phillip Morris (which is hysterical).
