We are finally out of the sun and away from the noise of SXSW, but that doesn’t mean our coverage of the events in Austin over the last week are anywhere near complete. We have stories, interviews, photos, and videos of the last few days to share with you, and starting right now we’re going to begin rolling them out.
If you have been following the newsfeed in recent weeks you’ll likely remember a post about a band called The Wild Feathers. Hailing from Nashville, these guys are bringing back that classic rock and roll sound, only this time around it has been injected with elements of country, pop, and soul that make it even harder to resist than before. The group recently signed with Warner Bros. and plans to release their label debut later this year, but this week in Austin they performed a non-album cut entitled “Girl From The Corner.” You can view footage of that performance, which was captured during an unofficial SXSW event, after the jump.
