Birdman States Lil Wayne’s Seizure Was Due To “His Work Ethic”

Young Money owner Birdman has broken his silence regarding the rumor of Lil Wayne’s seizure last week were due to a overdosage of codeine. Apparently the rapper’s health scare was just an episode of working too hard, according to the CEO. Read what Birdman had to say below and make your own decision on what the real case is here.

“He had a seizure through the night. We’ve really been in the hospital since Tuesday. All the stuff that people have been saying, there’s no truth to it at all,” he said. “We never left [the hospital] after the first seizure. We’ve been here since Tuesday…honestly, [the cause was] his work ethic, just how he puts in and what he believes in…it didn’t have nothing to do with drugs. No such thing like that. To me, it’s how he works. He works around the clock, he’s just a hard grinder for this music. But it wasn’t nothing about no drugs. He just needs to get some rest and relax, take it one day at a time. He’ll be back normal like anybody else, he just needs to relax for a minute and get some rest.”
