Reggie And The Full Effect Is Back In Action With Kickstarter Help

It’s been an unbearable five years since Reggie And The Full Effect’s Last Stop: Crappy Town and unfortunate farewell tour. We all thought it was the end of a great project and ridiculously fun live shows. Alas, we’re so pleased to find out that James Dewees (Coalesce, The Get Up Kids) has revived his electronica/rock enterprise and will be releasing a new album entitled No Country For Old Musicians (an obvious play-on of the Best Picture winning Coen Brothers film of 2007), around October of this year, as long as all goes according to plan with his Kickstarter campaign. As it has already raised nearly fifty percent of its goal in just five days since being launched, we don’t imagine that being much of an issue.

The Kickstarter has until Friday, April 19 to reach its goal of $50,000 and offers some excellent (and affordable) package options. Below the jump you can view an odd, yet entertaining, video from Dewees regarding the Kickstarter for No Country For Old Musicians, as well as one of our favorite Reggie and the Full Effect music videos from 2003’s Under The Tray (which just saw its 10-year anniversary last month and had some of the best packaging ever in relation to its title).
