UTG TV: Twin Falls Perform A New Song (Live at SXSW 2013)

Continuing our ongoing coverage of SXSW 2013, UTG TV is proud to present exclusive video of Twin Falls performing a brand new song during an appearance in Austin last week.

Lead by Dashboard Confessional and Further Seems Forever frontman Chris Carrabba, Twin Falls chose SXSW as the place to debut their group. Though videos of the four-piece had surfaced earlier in the year, this was their first official week of shows, and based on the audience reaction from the set I attended it’s probably safe to assume they will be everyone’s new favorite band in little-to-no time at all. The song we have for you today is a simple one, with Chris and his guitar taking the lead early, but it’s what the song evolves into over its runtime that will really turn heads. Carrabba has a new vision for his music, and this should serve as a great appetizer for what is to come in the months ahead. You can view the performance below.

Twin Falls have yet to announce any album or tour plans, but we heard though the grapevine that our friends at PropertyOfZack will have an interview with them soon. We’ll update you as the band’s plans begin to surface.
