Dr. Dre Assures Us That Eminem’s Eighth Studio Album Is Coming

The doctor is in and he has some good news for his patients.

Dr. Dre has popped up in the media recently, on Power 106’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood, explaining that Eminem’s eighth yet-to-be-titled studio album is in the works! Read the statement from him through the jump and get ready for the onslaught of Eminem news that’s about to hit your ears and eyes in the coming months.

Dre’s recent production credits last year include 50 Cent’s “New Day” as well as appearing on Kendrick Lamar’s debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city.

Em is finishing up his project. And for me, man, I’ve just gotten inspired again to go back into the studio, so I’m just really having fun with life and having fun with being creative and trying new and different things with myself, just trying to stay active,” he said. “As you know, it’s been almost 30 years for me in music. It’s a little bit difficult to keep getting inspired to get back in there but you know, music is my first love and I’m going to continue to do that as long as I can.
