Now that the band formerly known as Twin Falls has settled on a new name and distanced themselves from controversy it’s time we all get back to what is truly important: the music.
Twin Forks, which admittedly is about as tiny a variation on their original name as possible, have released a stream of a new song entitled “Something We Just Know.” The song is still prominently folk-leaning, but with more pop sensibilities and foot-stomping hook you cannot shake. You can stream the song below.
Dashboard Confessional and Further Seems Forever fans may cry foul given the band’s similarity to the current pop-folk trend of bands like Mumford and Sons or The Lumineers, but if it’s good music what is the point in complaining? “Something We Just Know” is catchy as can be and Carrabba sounds happy for the first time in awhile. Let the man be happy, dammit.
