This is not an April Fool’s joke. Today we are happy to share that Iowa-based hardcore band Modern Life is War has come out of their basement to announce that they are back. The band has been hard at work, having written a new album in September of last year, which is slated to be recorded this coming May. Modern Life is War, as they say it, is an “active band again.”

While there are no plans for them to do any extensive touring, they have announced that they will be playing their first show back at This is Hardcore in Philadelphia this year, with a record release show in Iowa shortly thereafter.

Here at UTG we have nothing else to really add other than the fact that as a collective, we are all so unbelievably excited. You can check out the press release after the break. We’re all Dead Ramones.
