Set The Sun Part Ways With Drummer

The Texas metalcore outfit known as Set The Sun have announced that they will be parting ways with their drummer, Alex Summers. They didn’t get into very many details on their Facebook announcement, however they indicated the decision was made based off musical differences between the drummer and the rest of the band. After much deliberation, and due to musical differences, we are parting ways with our drummer Alex Summers.

We feel this is a necessary step in order to continue progressing with our new sound and a band as a whole. This will not in any way slow down the writing of new material or the overall focus of the new STS.

There are no hard feelings between Alex and the band. We wish him only the best in his future projects.

We have been working diligently on our new music and have been putting all our focus into the overall sound, direction, and structure of the new Set The Sun.
