Fall Out Boy To Donate Boston Arena Date Proceeds For Bombing Victims

Fall Out Boy‘s highly anticipated comeback album Save Rock And Roll was released at midnight EST today, April 16. Normally, this would be a time of celebration. Instead, because of the events that took place early on April 15 the feeling in the air isn’t upbeat.

The band has decided that they will be donating all the proceeds from their upcoming arena show in Boston for all of those who were affected by the bombing tragedy. You can read what the band had to say by checking below the jump.

They will be playing at the House Of Blues in Boston on May 26.

as you guys all know we’ve been beyond excited for today to come and normally this would be a day of celebration with the release of our new album. in light of the events in Boston yesterday we’d like to send our thoughts and prayers to the victims and everyone affected. we’ll be donating the proceeds from our upcoming boston show from the fall tour at Tsongas arena to the victims. hopefully these songs will make some people feel better today. We are Americans, this affects us all.
