Stream Allison Weiss’ New Album ‘Say What You Mean’

No Sleep Records will release the full length debut from Allison Weiss entitled Say What You Mean tomorrow, April 16. To celebrate the occasion, AOL’s Spinner has chosen to stream the album a full day ahead of its release.

If you have somehow navigated the indie and alternative underground this long without discovering or hearing the music of Allison Weiss, you must be a ninja with skills far greater than ours. For the last year Weiss and her music has been a near-persistent news item on news sites and her phenomenal work on Say What You Mean is likely to only amplify the conversation. She is part pop, part folk, and a whole lot of something intangible that simply makes you want to know (and hear) more. Click here to stream Say What You Mean.

When we reviewed Say What You Mean back in March, writer Josh Hammond proclaimed “Anyone can learn to play guitar — what Weiss does makes her a poet. Such bravery should be rewarded. It would be a shame if the universe didn’t agree.”
