Hopeless Records’ The Wonder Years have partnered with AltPress to stream a new song entitled, “Dismantling Summer.”
The second song to surface off next month’s The Greatest Generation, “Dismantling Summer” assures fans that everything they loved on previous TWY releases can still be found on their latest effort, only this time the story is told from the perspective of a band whose seen their world do a complete 180 degree turn since their last release. It’s a slightly slower track than “Passing Through A Screen Door,” but when the hook hits it’s as catchy as any coupling of lines could possibly hope to be. The lyrics of Dan “Soupy” Campbell have you relating to emotions you’ve maybe never felt yourself, and the strangest part is not that but the fact there are (tens of) thousands who think they feel the same.
