Though many questioned their continued existence, I Set My Friends On Fire are indeed still a band, and this afternoon they proved that by posting a new song online for fans to enjoy.

“Midwife Toad” is a song unlike anything you’ve likely heard from I Set My Friends On Fire in the past. It has a chill, atmospheric mood that is matched with two singing vocalists. In fact, I don’t believe there is a single breakdown or scream to be found anywhere on the track. Is this the sound of growing up? Click below to stream “Midwife Toad.”

ISMFOF have also announced plans to release a new album entitled Caterpillar Sex later this year. When the album will hit shelves and who, if anyone, will be releasing it has not yet been confirmed.
