Iron Chic Signs to Bridge 9

Bridge 9 announced today that they have signed Long Island punk band Iron Chic to their label. Iron Chic will be releasing their newest EP, Spooky Action, on May 14 digitally, and on vinyl on June 25. Bridge 9 also announced that Iron Chic have plans for a full-length, although details about that will be released at a later date.

For those who aren’t aware of the under appreciated talent that is Iron Chic, the band formed out of the ashes of Latterman and put out one of the most solid debut full lengths, Not Like This, in 2010. They have been touring and acting like punks pretty much ever since.

Here at UTG we’ve always loved what Bridge 9 has done to always expand their label in a positive direction, and this addition of Iron Chic further proves that Bridge 9 understands talent when they see it.

You can actually check out the newest Iron Chic EP, Spooky Action, after the break via their Bandcamp, and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. I mean come on, they cover Butthole Surfers.
