PRODUCT REVIEW: ZeroShock 17.3″ Laptop Case

This is like the Cadillac of laptop cases. It’s big, comfortable and luxurious. I feel very assured that my laptop is safe and secure inside the briefcase-style ZeroShock. It’s high quality and stylish. We’re a perfect match.

The normal retail price looks to be roughly $80.00 which seems pretty pricey for a laptop case but as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.” The case is currently on sale for around $45.00 at GearZap which appears to be quite a steal for the ZeroShock.

Unless you tend to carry a ridiculous amount of equipment with your laptop, this case has a vast array of storage compartments (between zippers and Velcro) for your accessories and computing essentials. In it I’ve fit my 17.3” laptop, USB cords, mousepad, small mouse, laptop charging cable, headphones, card reader, some paperwork, and some pens with room to spare. For any day-to-day carrying needs in regards to your laptop, this case is ideal and convenient. The handle is extremely comfortable with a nice, squishy give, and if you need the free hand, there’s an optional shoulder strap which comes in very handy as well.

The inside, main compartment for your laptop has an incredible shock resistant, memory foam-like structure to keep your machine safe and free of damage. There’s also a Velcro strap inside to help secure it in place. My only little nitpick about the case at all is that in this main compartment, there is a removable Velcro divider that seems to only be able to be used if you have a smaller laptop, like a 15.6” model, because I had to move it all the way to one side or remove it entirely to fit my laptop in the case. This is not an issue in general, but more so an observation and very minor inconvenience.

All in all, this ZeroShock laptop case is the best I’ve ever owned. I enjoy everything about it and it actually makes me want to take my laptop more places just to get some use out of the case. It looks nice and feels good. What can you complain about that has those qualities?

SCORE: 10/10
