Anchorlines’ Bassist Parts Ways With Band

Anchorlines had to announce earlier today that their bassist Vinny Marino is parting ways with the band to pursue a career he’s been working toward. They indicated that his last show with the group will be May 4 at The Loft in Poughkeepsie, New York with Counterparts. You can read the official statement from the band by taking a look below the jump.

They have not announced if they are looking for replacements yet, but we will let you know if they end up opening auditions! You can keep up to date on their status by “liking” them on Facebook.

It is unfortunate to announce that our bassist Vinny Marino is leaving Anchorlines. Just as we are passionate about the band we’ve built Vinny is passionate about the career he has worked so hard to achieve, and has had to neglect in order to be in this band. Though he has only been a member for a short time he has been more supportive and motivated than we could ask for, and with his departure we are glad to remain friends and to see him pursuing what makes him happy.

Vinny’s last show will be Saturday May 4th at the Loft in Poughkeepse NY with Counterparts.
