Set It Off Frontman Denied Access Into Canada

Set It Off

We’ve recently learned that the lead vocalist of Set It Off, Cody Carson, was denied access into Canada at the border. Specific reasons why haven’t been released, but you can check out a statement from Cody by taking a look below the jump. Set It Off plan on continuing their tour routing without him.

The band will be back in the US for some shows before embarking on this year’s Vans Warped Tour. Be sure to check out their Facebook page for a list of dates to see if they will be playing in your city.

As some of you may have heard, I was unable to play the show Wednesday night after being held up at the Canadian border. It was an unfortunate situation but I’m completely fine, and we are working to clear up the issue as soon as possible. But it also means that I unfortunately will not be able to join SIO on the remaining dates of this tour. Everything will be taken care of but until then I hope you’ll still go hang out with the rest of SIO and the other amazing bands on this tour. I’m so sorry to our fans and the band for not being there, it truly breaks my heart to be missing these shows. As soon as I can, I will come back and make it up to you, Canada. Please sing your hearts out in my absence this week.
With Much Love,
Cody Carson
