Adele Is Back In The Studio; Planning Mid-2014 Release

Pop music feels empty in 2013 without the presence of a strong and emotionally-charged vocalist somewhere in the top 10. The last few years have been filled with the presence of Adele to keep real talent challenging the likes of EDM-addicted starlets, but this year the songstress has taken some well deserved time off to start her family and think about what she wants to do next. Now, it seems, she is ready to return.

According to a new story on Gigwise (which references The Mirror), Adele has returned to the studio to begin working on a new album currently scheduled for release in the middle of next year. “Four tracks are finished in terms of writing and she’s now laying down preliminary vocals with backing music and singers,” explained an insider. “The rest of the record will be done in LA. The feel is very much Adele going back to her roots, with some modern jazz and a couple of classic old songs.”

Adele’s beloved 21 was about one of the toughest breakups of her life. Now that she is married and a new mother it will be interesting to see how her music changes to meet her new outlook. One thing is for sure though, and that is that whatever happens we’ll be covering it right here on UTG. So be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook so you never miss an update.
