Promotion is well underway for Guillermo Del Toro’s epic blockbuster, Pacific Rim, and this morning another piece of footage was released to keep fans chomping at the bit for the Summer release.

Back when almost no one knew what Pacific Rim was, Guillermo Del Toro showcased previously never-before-seen footage to a panel at a comic convention. The response was so deafening it initially fueled much of the hype surrounding the film, and now that same footage is available for all to see. You can view the convention trailer at the end of this post.

If you have seen the other trailers and clips for Pacific Rim you may not see too much new footage in this clip, rather a slightly different arrangement of already revealed sequences. That said, it’s still awesome and unlike anything else currently in the movie pipeline. We’re excited for this film, are you?
