Our New York buddies, The Chainsmokers, are back in touch with a brand new groovin’ ass remix of Phoenix’s “Trying To Be Cool.” The source material comes off of Phoenix’s newest effort, Bankrupt!, which just released on April 22, and the remix may land The Chainsmokers on the streets essing dees afterall.

Drew and Alex have taken the French indie rockers’ radio-ready jam and given it a party-friendly makeover with somewhat of a disco edge, inciting Breakfast Club dance moves and as much as we hate it, the occasional fist pump (or air fisting) as well. I’m doing the Molly Ringwald so hard that I look like an Amanda Bynes-level mess when I’m finished. JK, I love you, Amanda.
