Last night MSN premiered the first trailer for the upcoming summer comedy, The World’s End. It’s the first movie rirector Edgar Wright has helmed since 2010’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Returning are frequent collaborators Simon Pegg (who co-wrote the movie), Nick Frost, and Martin Freeman.
It’s the final movie in what they’ve described as the “Three Flavours Cornetto’s Trilogy,” following 2004’s Shaun of the Dead and 2007’s Hot Fuzz. The World’s End follows several old friends as they attempt a long pub-crawl.
Us here at UTG being huge fans of Scott Pilgrim, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Simon Pegg in general have been anxiously awaiting our first look at what appears to be another cult comedy. Watch the trailer after the jump.
