Trees Above Mandalay Break Up

Trees Above Mandalay, an up and coming pop rock favorite from New Jersey, have decided to call it quits. They posted a message on their Facebook page saying the following:

Dearest friends,

The time has come for Trees Above Mandalay to call it quits.

Our final two performances will take place in July, in Richmond, VA and Northern, NJ. More details will be announced soon.

We will be following up on this in more detail with a more lengthy statement (that will probably be way too long for you to read), but please know that this was a completely mutual decision between all of us. It is just simply time to move on at this point.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the most amazing 6+ years of our lives. The party is NOT over just yet. Let’s have one hell of a ball these last few shows.

You all mean the world to us.

It seems the band has a show left on schedule, and a final run of shows coming in July. The one show already announced is tonight at Canvas Clash in Boonton, New Jersey.

I finished school with a music theory degree. Before I finished school, I was a janitor. You really should apologize to all the janitors you've ever had. You hurt them. Seriously. You did.

But, now that we've cleared that up and you called your high school janitor, know that I quit being a janitor to pursue writing about music. So here I am, and here you are, and hey how are you?
