Detroit, Michigan is looking to be the talk of the festival world today, with the announcement of the brand new Laneway Fest.
The longtime Australian festival will take place on September 14 at Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester Hills and will feature 20 bands / artists. Headlining this event is Sigur Ros and The National. Get ready for appearances by the Dismemberment Plan, Solange Knowles, Deerhunter, Chvrches, Warpaint and My Brightest Diamond, Shara Worden, AlunaGeorge, Charlie XCX, Chet Faker, Flume, Frightened Rabbit, Haerts, Icona Pop, Phosphorescent, Run the Jewels, Savages.
Tickets will be $79.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through Ticketmaster and the Palace box office. A limited number of pre-sale four-packs, tickets $64.50 a piece, are available at the Palace of Auburn Hills box office.
