Our brothers and sisters at Absolutepunk are spoiling the internet today with the premiere of the official video for The Begging Sea’s latest single, “Lightly Stepping.”

Fronted by Nathan Henry, whom many of our readers once swooned over as the frontman of Sherwood, The Begging Sea craft a unique brand of alt-indie pop that is as catchy as it is soothing on the soul. It’s well within the wheel house of Henry’s past works, but that is in no way a complaint from us. The animated visuals tell a narrative that pairs beautifully with the story, and it’s done in a style that is simple-yet-captivating. You can view the video below.

“Lightly Stepping” is taken from The Begging Sea’s new album, which is currently scheduled for release later in 2013. Pre-orders for the album are expected to launch later this afternoon.
