Boston hardcore group Defeater announced today that their newest full length, Letters Home, will be released on Bridge Nine Records July 16.

For those who don’t know, Defeater’s albums follow the story of a family in a post-WWII America, and this time around Letters Home will tell the story of the family’s father. The father is a soldier in WWII, so we will get to follow his travels in battle.

Defeater has gotten better with each and every release, and we are positive that this record is going to be one to watch out for this year. The stories Defeater have told are insanely intricate, so we’re sure this new story about the father will weave in perfectly the world the band has created.
