ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK: The Trailer For ‘Riddick’ Is Finally Here

It has been nearly a decade since we last heard from Riddick in The Chronicles Of Riddick back in 2004, but the silence is over.

Today a full trailer for the upcoming film, Riddick, hit the internet, and it does not disappoint. Vin Diesel’s sci-fi mercenary that can see in the dark is still on a desolate and dangerous alien world being chased after by bounty hunters. Once again the planet’s hostile environment proves to be too tough for the antagonists and Riddick must save them.

The best news is that unlike the second film Riddick will have an R rating, like Pitch Black did, which will give the characters less of a “cleaned up for tv” feel. The action looks intense and if you enjoyed the previous films there is no doubt you will dig this one. The movie is set to release on September 6. Check out the trailer after the jump.
