Brooklyn artist Reed Kackley (Silent Rider) has recently released an impressive (and bold) cover of Bon Iver’s single that started it all, “Skinny Love.”
Kackley gives Justin Vernon a run for his money with an equally arresting and hypnotizing falsetto, this time backed by an ambient groove that gives the track a mesmerizing quality. This has been on repeat for me all morning and will continue to be throughout the day in between catch-up episodes of It’s Always Sunny.
You can stream and download (for free!) Silent Rider’s cover of “Skinny Love” after the jump. Get connected in the comments. Let us know what you think of Kackley’s version.
