MUSIC VIDEO: The Early November – “Tell Me Why”

The Early November are buzzworthy. The band has teamed up with MTV’s Buzzworthy Blog to premiere the video for the track, “Tell Me Why,” from their 2012 album, In Currents. Having featured their single and title track, “In Currents,” on the MTV blog in October 2012, this marks the second time the band has been deemed buzzworthy within the past 12 months. Not too bad for a band coming off a hiatus.

MTV asked guitarist/keyboardist, Joe Marro, about working with director Trevor Bowman and how he interoperates the video’s final product,

“We’ve been working with Trevor Bowman for the past few years and knew he would do a great job with this one. He has a great understanding of what we do and do not like and the band’s aesthetic. For ‘Tell Me Why,’ I knew I didn’t want something too linear or song specific. I’m a bigger fan of seeing interesting images and letting the viewer piece them together and make a picture out of it. The video itself gives makes me slightly nostalgic, and you really worry for the boy during parts, mainly due to his great performance. At the end, it’s relieving and content, which compliments the song nicely.”

You can check out the video for, “Tell Me Why,” after the jump.

The Early November’s album, In Currents, is currently out now on Rise Records.
