In the words of Bon Jovi, “Who says you can’t go home?”

A few years have passed since Adam Sandler and his crew of equally notable funny people delivered the family friendly smash Grown Ups, but this Summer the crew returns in an all new adventure aptly titled Grown Ups 2. This time, the guys have moved back home to New England, and the ensuing hijinks take place around the natural beauty of Massachusetts. You can view the latest trailer, which reveals a bit about the ‘end of school’ themed plot, at the end of this post.

Let’s be honest: Grown Ups is a slow underhand pitch in the game of comedy baseball. Its jokes and overall content is crafted to appeal to widest audience possible, and whether or not that brand of humor works for you is something only you can know for sure. Personally, I think family fun gets old relatively fast, but the original Grown Ups had enough memorable moments that I am willing to give the sequel a chance. Will you be checking this film out?
