BBC Radio 1 held its annual Big Weekend festival over the weekend. We were not able to go, but thanks to a series of videos popping up online this morning we are able to partake in the highlights of the event. One performance was so good it simply needed to be shared, and here we are to deliver it to you.

It is impossible for anyone who cares about pop music to have made it to this date, May 26, without recognizing the immense talent of Macklemore and musical cohort, Ryan Lewis. Their hit “Thrift Shop” has been essentially inescapable in recent weeks, and slowly but surely their follow-up, “Can’t Hold Us,” is starting to have a similar presence in the mainstream. The duo performed their new hit for the hungry crowds overseas this weekend, and the performance is still just as epic when viewed through a computer screen. Click below and enjoy.
