To celebrate her birthday in a way fans around the world could partake in, Kylie Minogue has leaked a new single entitled “Skirt.” The song packs a gigantic beat built on a thick foundation of synth-loving EDM, and features lyrics about spotting that certain someone you want to spend one wild (possibly hazy) night with after leaving the club. It’s an all-out riot of a dance track, and something tells us fans and newcomers alike are going to fall in love with Minogue’s latest sound. You can stream “Skirt” at the end of this post.

If I had to choose which pop star has best reinvented themselves over the last two decades, Kylie Minogue would far outshine the likes of Madonna or, to a lesser extent, Kanye West. With each new release Minogue keeps her eye on what is popular while staying true to her dedicated followers, and it’s this perfect combination that has aided her in having such a long and successful career.
