Keeping the promotion for his forthcoming Sophomore effort on overdrive while continuing to expand his empire, Mac Miller killed two birds with one stone earlier today by releasing a performance video of a new song entitled “Objects In The Mirror.”
Performed for the inaugural episode of what is being dubbed The Space Migration Sessions, Miller appeared backed by a full band with a lot of reverb. “Objects In The Mirror” is the kind of jazz-influenced track you would expect from his alter ego Larry Fisherman, and Miller adjusts his presence to match the stylistic change with a simple-yet-revealing approach that further impresses the emotional energy of the song upon you. This Pharrell-produced track may be the best off Watching Movies With The Sound Off, and we haven’t even heard the studio version yet. You can view the performance below.
No word yet on when The Space Migration Sessions will return, but count us in for covering every entry that follows.
Mac Miller will release Watching Movies With The Sound Off on June 18. Click here to preorder the album off iTunes.
