Chicago pop punk favorites Real Friends have released a stream of their new EP, Put Yourself Back Together.
Offering up another fitting edition to their unique brand of pop punk, Put Yourself Back Together is another heartbroken, emo-referencing collection of basement anthems for crowded venues with poor equipment and walls drenched in sweat. No song strays too far outside the standard Real Friends sound, in fact one could say it’s a by-the-book offering at best, but if their sound is what makes your heart race and knees shake you’ll be happy to have spent time awaiting its release. You can stream the full EP at the end of this post.
Put Yourself Back Together is the first release through Glamour Kills. If you ask me, it’s a pretty great start for a company that already has a strong reputation in the alternative scene. Comment below and let me know if you agree.
