The Black Dahlia Murder released a new song off their upcoming album Everblack.
“Goat Of Departure” is the first single off Everblack, out June 11 via Metal Blade Records and is said to be about the goat’s role in metal music. The Black Dahlia Murder’s leading man Trevor Strnad said, “This song is about how the goat came to represent Christian evil and the origins of the infamous ‘horns’ metal hand sign.”
The symbolism in this one would make an English major blush. Listen for yourself below.
