MUSIC VIDEO: Allison Weiss – “Making It Up”

Allison Weiss has teamed up with MTV’s Buzzworthy blog to premiere her video for “Making It Up.” Weiss told MTV that her and director, Kristen Winter, had the video’s concept for awhile now, but could never find the time to film it. “The only weekend available was the one surrounding my birthday, so I celebrated my 26th year of life by crying on a bed for eight hours. Was it worth it? Absolutely,” said Weiss.

MTV has been doing an excellent job as of late with delivering quality content. Could the former music station, now primarily reality teen show channel be making its way back into the good graces of the music community? That still remains to be seen, but it’s safe to say that with all of this year’s incredible music and artists, they’re off to a solid start.

“Making It Up” is featured on her debut album, Say What You Mean, which is currently out now on No Sleep Records. Check out her new music video via MTV below.
