Kid Ink Debuts “Dream Big”

Kid Ink blessed fans who bought his Almost Home EP on Friday by mailing out two unreleased bonus songs, and this morning the better of the two has found its way to the desk of UTG.

“Dream Big” features the kind of flow and lyrical confidence that let’s you know in an instant why people cannot stop talking about Kid Ink. His flow falls somewhere between Big Sean, Drake, and (dare I say) Big Boi, with more focus on street life and rising above the challenges life presents. The song is not exactly what you would consider a potential radio hit, but it is so good you’ll find yourself hitting repeat over and over (and over) again. You can stream and download “Dream Big” below.

It’s tough to call at this point, but I think Kid Ink may be my favorite breakout emcee of 2013. After you listen to “Dream Big,” comment below and let us know if you agree.

Any word on that other track yet? Almost every hip-hop site reported on there being 2 bonus tracks but only this one saw the light of day.
