Strawberry Girls Sign To Tragic Hero Records

Salinas, California rock outfit Strawberry Girls are very pleased to announce their signing to Tragic Hero Records today. Congratulations to the entire band on this exciting news!

If you are unfamiliar, Strawberry Girls released their debut album French Ghetto earlier this year. Appearances on the record come from Kurt Travis (A Lot Like Birds), Nic Newsham (Gatsbys American Dream) and more.

The experimental rock group told us that they were extremely eager about the deal that they penned a few weeks back. “Tommy is really stoked on us,” said guitarist Zachary Garren. “He believes in our band and has some really cool things in the works for us already.

Label mate and frontman for We Are Defiance, Brian Calzini helped the band land their deal, introducing them to label founder, Tommy LaCombe. “I think he’s more into this band than mine,” Calzini laughs when he told us about the new partnership.

“We’re very happy to announce we’ve signed with Tragic Hero Records! Having worked with renowned acts like A Skylit Drive, Alesana, and He Is Legend, we feel extremely honored to be partnering up with Tragic Hero Records. We couldn’t have asked for a better home and family.”
