The Dangerous Summer have finally given in to fan demands for album information and announced their third full length, Golden Record, will hit stores August 6 via Hopeless Records.
In addition to revealing the title and release date for their new album, The Dangerous Summer kept the news rolling by unveiling the album art, tracklist, and a stream of the lead single in the last day as well. The song, “Catholic Girls,” has been a hit at live shows throughout the Spring and sounds even better in studio form. It’s a fitting first release, reminding you about the band’s signature style of alt-rock while pushing the maturity of the group’s sound ever-so-slightly forward. You can stream “Catholic Girls” at the end of this post.
We have been meaning to discuss our most anticipated summer releases, and now it seems we can add Golden Record as well. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on “Catholic Girls.”
