Taking Back Sunday Are Back In The Studio

Exciting news came down today from Long Island rockers, Taking Back Sunday. Back in February, we discovered that the band was writing new material in a “secret mountain house.” Today, the band tweeted that they’re back in the studio and have begun working on the follow-up to their 2011 self-titled album.

This marks the sixth studio album by the band, and the third to include all founding members. Guitarist and vocalist, John Nolan, and bassist, Shaun Cooper, parted ways with the band after their breakthrough 2002 album, Tell All Your Friends. It wasn’t until 2010 when the original line-up reunited, and began working on new material.

There is currently no release date or timeline for the new album, but this news certainly brings some anticipation for the future. Stay tuned to Under the Gun as this story develops.
