Odd Future affiliate Earl Sweatshirt has let fans know via Twitter he will not be performing at Bonnaroo due to coming down with pneumonia. With a plethora of understandably disappointed festival goers who were looking forward to seeing his set at the festival, the rapper has also made quite a few personal apologies before having this to say to those unimpressed with his reasoning for backing out:

“to everyone who think im being overdramatic, go get pneumonia and then try singing ‘whoa’ all the way through with no hypeman. im just sayin.”

Earl’s previously scheduled 4-5 PM time slot on Friday will be filled by indie rock outfit DIIV since they missed their set due to flight cancellations caused by inclement weather in New York City this morning.
