Hot damn! This band is so good I want to drop down and begin praising the entertainment deities for blessing us with such a amazing group of talented musicians.

We first mentioned The Wild Feathers earlier this year when their video for “The Ceiling” found its way online ahead of SXSW 2013. Since then, the Nashville rock act have booked a slew of tours, announced an August 6 release for their debut album, and let all of us here at UTG hear said album in full. We plan on running a review closer to release date, but I’ll tell you right now that The Wild Feathers’ self-titled debut is going to be one of the ‘need to know’ albums of the fall. “Hard Wind” is one of the stronger tracks, and the video continues the band’s history of high-quality visual offerings. I wish I could say we’ll keep our love for The Wild Feathers to a minimum in the months ahead, but to make a promise like that would be to lie to your face. This band deserves to change rock and roll. Please, go out of your way and learn more about them. You won’t regret it.
