J.D. Salinger is one of the greatest literary minds to ever bless the world with his gift for words. Probably most well known for The Catcher In Rye, his work has changed countless lives around the world, but to this day much about the man behind the books is largely unknown. A new documentary aims to change that, and this after we have your first look at their efforts.
Hitting theaters later this year, Salinger attempts to discover the man behind some of the greatest novels ever written. Through celebrity testimonials, interviews with people who knew him, and archived information, the film will present a portrait of a man so few ever had a chance to truly know. The first trailer is as captivating as the premise promises, and you can experience it for yourself at the end of this post.
Salinger currently has no release date, but the buzz online today leads us to believe that will soon change. Follow UTG on Twitter for the latest news and information.
