HOLY SH!T: Dave Chappelle Officially Returns To Stand-Up, Confirms Fall Comedy Tour

The morning comedy fans have been waiting for longer than any announcement in recent memory has finally arrived. After years out of the spotlight, Dave Chappelle will be returning to the world of stand-up with a full US tour in the months ahead.

Breaking this morning via sponsors Funny Or Die, Dave Chappelle will co-headline The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour, a 5 weekend tour launching this summer. Flight Of The Conchords will be the other headlining act on the run, with Al Madrigal, Brody Stevens, Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Mulaney, and Kristen Schaal all scheduled to make appearances on the tour as well. The festival will also feature “two stages, street performers, vendors, psychics, freaks, tasty treats and more.”

The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour marks Dave Chappelle’s first legitimate touring efforts since he walked away from comedy and his hit television show back in 2003. He has performed a number of shows since then, including a highly-covered string of shows in NYC back in February of this year, but has remained almost silent as far as official announcements or plans are concerned.

Tickets for The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour go on sale June 21. You can view dates and ticket information on the tour’s official website, or at the end of this post. A promotional video for the tour can be seen below.
