Kanye West Releases ‘American Psycho’-Inspired Short Film

The hype for Kanye West’s new album, Yeezus, which dropped today, has been through the roof these past few days. With his new American Psycho-Inspired short film, he’s only continuing the trend.

A number of projections were scheduled to occur around the world to promote the new album days before its June 18 release date. Los Angeles was able to see the short film early when it was screened on the walls of Milk Studios this past weekend, but West has now posted it on his website and on YouTube. The film mimics the famous scene from American Psycho where Patrick Bateman, played by Christian Bale, murders a man with an axe to the blaring song “Hip to be Square.” Now Scott Disick takes the role of Bateman while praising West and Yeezus (which you can read our review of here).

The film took a backseat in the press due to West’s baby being born the same weekend. Now the video is being shared left and right. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
