Sargent House rock and rollers Native haven’t had a full length new release since 2009’s Wrestling Moves. That’s about to change on August 20 when they release their sophomore work, Orthodox (which is a strange title for such an unorthodox band). Along with that, another band with an album out on August 20, O’Brother, will be touring with Native and Daylight. Overall, that should be a pretty exciting tour – an experimental band, a punkier Sargent House band, and a band that changed its sound for their first full length touring together in small clubs? Count me in.

Today, Native released a stream of a new song, “Kissing Bridge,” on Soundcloud. It features some math rock influenced tapping, but has a heavier edge to it. If you’re a fan of new sounds, you have to check it out.
