Empire Of The Sun Set To Score ‘Dumb And Dumber To’

For those who thought you’d never see a sequel to Dumb and Dumber, you’re in luck. It’s happening and better yet, Empire of the Sun is going to be the soundtrack to Lloyd and Harry’s newest adventures.

This won’t be the first time the Farrelly Brothers have enlisted Empire of the Sun for their work. If you happened to even recall seeing 2011’s Hall Pass, then you might remember their “Walking on a Dream” somewhere in there.

The movie making siblings made the announcement on Twitter this week saying, “Here’s a review of the new @EmpireOfTheSun album. They’ll be scoring Dumb and Dumber To! P http://t.co/8Ya70U9M9t”

This news comes after we all thought the sequel was dead for good. Thankfully for those yearning for it, Universal picked it up after Warner Bros. dropped it. There’s no word yet on what the Farrelly Brothers have in store for the plot, but both Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey are locked to reprise their roles.

One thing’s for sure, anything will be better than that dismal so-called prequel Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd.
