Frank Ocean Debuts Three New Songs Live

Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean saw monster success with his debut studio album, channel ORANGE, but remained pretty hidden after that. Last night he performed his first proper concert since September of 2012, letting Munich hear three new songs that have yet to be released.

Last we heard, Ocean told BBC Radio 1 that he was about “ten to eleven songs” into his new record with rumored collaborators like Pharrell Williams, King Krule, and Depeche Mode. With or without these guests, it seems highly likely that Ocean’s album will do very well, both musically and sales-wise, based off channel ORANGE‘s seat at #1 on most end of the year lists from 2012. “Lost” recently got its own music video, bringing channel ORANGE back to the forefront in 2013.

A few more tour dates lie ahead of the singer, including Osheaga Festival in Montreal and Drake’s OVO Festival. It’s up in the air as to whether or not he will perform these new songs there as well. For now, watch them (thanks to fan footage) below:
