Just a few days ago, Attila released their fifth full-length, About That Life. While it contains the usual suspects lyrically in the form of sex, drugs, and partying, the album also has a standout track named “Callout” which has been making quite a few waves. As the title implies, the song calls out individuals ranging from Jonny Craig to Ronnie Radke for their various shortcomings, but one verbal attack in particular has drawn the attention of none other than America’s favorite bigots themselves.
After hearing the song’s outro which eloquently states, “Hey Westboro Baptist, fuck you too! Come and protest this dick, faggots,” the Westboro Baptist Church took to Twitter to announce plans to picket Vans Warped Tour on July 23 in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Attila’s vocalist, Chris Fronzak (AKA Fronz), had this to say about the situation:
“YESSSSS, WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH IS REALLY COMING TO A SHOW TO PROTEST MY DICK!”
For those worried about the WBC actually entering Warped, the tour’s founder, Kevin Lyman, has assured fans the hate group will not be allowed admission into the festival. Thus, it appears they will be protesting Fronz’s genitals from a distance.
