Chelsea Wolfe and her drone-like folk have returned for our listening pleasure with the new song “The Warden” off her upcoming album, Pain Is Beauty. Stream the song below after the jump.

“The Warden” is another goth-like folk track from the Sacramento, California singer, this time paired with what sounds like electronic drums and a lot of the echoing vocals that make her music so haunting. We’ll have to stay tuned to see if the rest of the album is as low-key as “The Warden”, or if there are all electronic drums on the tracks. Either way, it looks like it will be another great release from Wolfe.

Pain Is Beauty will be Wolfe’s fourth studio album and comes out on September 3 through Sargent House. Watch a trailer for the album here and give her beautiful new song a go below:
