File under: things that are beyond impressive. Drum virtuoso Zach Hill has long been known for his insane chops, his outside the box thinking, and for some extended techniques, as well as his work in the deepest corners of the alternative world. His experiences in the math rock of Hella, the noise rap of Death Grips, and working with Tera Melos‘ Nick in Bygones and with Omar Rodriguez-Lopez in his solo material do not make a normal resume.

Earlier this week, Death Grips posted a new Youtube video where Hill drums impressively… with his two hands handcuffed together. There are no words to properly describe this. It is not your average drum video.

Death Grips have largely been on a social media silence after their penis incident, where they leaked their own major label album out early on a website that’s primary feature was a photograph of a tattooed penis. Death Grips: for kids. We knew going in that their signing to a major label didn’t make sense, but the world hardly could’ve expected that level of punk rejection.

Be sure your right speaker works (as all the sound is on the right side) and watch it here after the break. In typical Death Grips fashion, it’s about as next level as it gets.
